Rumer Willis new found confidence from competing on ABC's Dancing with the Stars may not be the asset to her personality that she thinks it is. According to the latest gossip news updates, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis' daughter clashed with her Season 20 pro-partner, Val Chmerkovskiy after making the mistake of treating him like an object meant for her sexual amusement. Upon Rumer's remarks that she was looking forward to their next dance routine in which he would be topless, Val tersely reminded Hollywood wild child that there was more to him than a pretty face. Word has it that Willis' new found attitude also led into new feud with party girl Paris Hilton, who is none too pleased that Rumer is getting so much love and attention out of appearing on the TV show.
If Val Chmerkovskiy wanted people to treat him like he was just another pretty face, the Dancing with the Stars champion would have become a model instead of devoting his life to studying dance.
In a TMZ video of a recent practice, that Ukrainian born heartthrob immediately bristles at Willis gleefully questioned her partner if he was ready for an entire dance sans shirt, because she wasn't so sure she could handle it.
The 29-year-old dancer explained that he and Artem Chigvintsev, who was also present at the practice, didn't necessarily enjoy being treated as sexual objects any more than she would:
"Me and Artem are starting a...it's kind of like a boycott...a stance for the opposite of feminism, you know. Maninism.
"[Because] I feel like me and Artem get exploited on the show sexually, on a consistent basis, and I am kind of tired of that to be honest.
"And [Artem] is too, because he is more than just pecs and handsome looks"
Rumer's new pumped up attitude apparently didn't go over any better with celebrity heiress Paris Hilton either.
An eyewitness to the 2015 Race to Erase MS Gala claims in the May 11, issue of Star magazine that Willis was acting like a self-indulgent little brat, and Paris Hilton quickly became so jealous that she could hardly stand it:
"Rumer refused to make eye contact with anyone and huffed at having to wait at the bar for a drink.
"She just kept rolling her eyes like she couldn't be bothered.
"[While] Paris kept giving Rumer these nasty looks, especially when all the people swarmed around her...Paris was shocked at all the attention Rumer got."
Let's just hope that Rumer Willis develops a little humility along with all those impressive dance moves.
