Mariah Carey Husband Nick Cannon Denies ‘Infinity’ Divorce Dis? [ALBUM NEWS]

Despite the fact that the media has done their best to present their divorce as some sort of would-be blood sport, Mariah Carey's soon-to-be ex-husband, Nick Cannon, wants fans to know that they are not feuding or fighting -- they're just splitting up. According to the latest gossip news updates, the America's Got Talent host made a point of showing his support for the Rockefeller Christmas Center croaker on Instagram. It's also rumored that Mariah's first single off her new album, "Infinity," is no more about their breakup than Nick's new Mally Mall produced tracks.

When Mariah recently dropped her new single, "Infinity," it was immediately rumored that the song was about putting Nick Cannon back in his place since he decided to leave their marriage late last year.

A source claiming to be in the know told TMZ, however, that the single wasn't really meant as a dis against Nick so much as any man who may lack ambition:

"The song is about women in general and how some 'lose themselves in their man.'...it is 'not specifically about her relationship with Nick.'"

Nick, who quickly went out of his way to personally quash any rumors that his new album was meant to insult Mariah Carey in any way, took the occasion of their twins, fourth birthday to once again reiterate that he will always love the "Butterfly" beauty on Instagram:

"Today is the day that God blessed me with the greatest gifts."

"Grateful and forever in debt to @MariahCarey for blessing me and the rest of the world with these 2 Angels, Morrocan Scott Cannon and Monroe Cannon, on this day 4 years ago. Happy Birthday!

"I love ya'll!"

While Nick has been doing his best to fight the good fight against the constant propaganda, he explained on the Meredith Vieira Show last month that is was getting difficult having to deal with the constant nonsense being spread through the media (via Billboard):

"It's extremely disappointing when you see that people just want to perpetuate negativity when there is no negativity even involved.

"They want to make up stuff and create things."

Let's hope that Nick Cannon doesn't let the negativity affect the no-holds-barred honesty that his fans and friends have come to know and respect him for over the years.
