B.B. King Under Hospice Care After Heart Attack, Denied Family Visitation Rights

B.B. King, as of late, has been under hospice care after being admitted to a hospital last Thursday following a minor heart attack. While he wishes for well wishes and prayers, his family has been banned from seeing the musician.

King's health has been dwindling causing him to cancel the remainder of a tour last October when he fell ill during a show due to dehydration and exhaustion.

However, as The Clarion Ledger and TMZ reports, King's daughter Karen Williams is claiming in new legal documents that the 89-year-old legend is being neglected by manager Laverne Toney.

It's been asserted that the blues guitarist fell while a caregiver, provided by Toney, was asleep from consuming too much alcohol.

It's also been noted that Toney won't provide dentalcare to treat King's abscesses, given that King's estate is bankrupt. Williams says that King had $5 million in his account in 2014 but was quickly drained.

Williams claims that in April 2014 more than $453,000 was withdrawn from the musician's account.

Since permission hasn't been granted to the family, Williams is asking a judge to make her the guardian of her father's estate as Toney says King is dying but won't allow the family to see him.

"Mr. King is where he wishes to be," Toney told The Associated Press. "He's always told me he doesn't want to be in a hospital. He wants to be at home."

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is a 15-time Grammy winner and is considered to be among the echelon of greatest guitarists of all time.

We wish for a full recovery and that King be granted permission to be visited by whomever he wants.

In the meantime, get down with some King below.
