Hillary Scott, singer/songwriter of country band Lady Antebellum, gave birth to her first child with husband Chris Tyrrell. The baby is happy and healthy, as her parents released her size and gender...as well as some pretty adorable pics.
Scott, the 27-year-old singer and songwriter, welcomed a brand new baby girl into the world. Her birth occurred on Monday in Nashville, Tenn.
Scott and her husband, drummer Chris Tyrrell, are elated with the birth of their new child. The couple were married for a little over a year, before the joyous occasion occurred.
The singer confirmed the delivery on her Twitter account, where she revealed the child’s name--Eisele Kaye. Ms. Eisele weighed 7lbs 13oz and is so cute. In Mrs. Scott’s own words, "She's here, and we are in HEAVEN!!! Eisele Kaye, our beautiful angel, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"
That quote was attached to a picture of baby footprints. Adorable.
People Magazine took time to decipher the child’s name, which appears to be a combination of both Scott and Tyrrell’s family names:
“The names honor Chris’s mother’s maiden name (pronounced Eyes-lee) and Hillary’s mother’s middle name.”
Scott publicly announced she was pregnant back in December. By March, it was known that Scott was having a girl. Another thing Scott was having, however, were food cravings. As she told People Magazine:
“There was one night where I looked at my husband and I was like, ‘We really have to go to the grocery store because I need a Pop-Tart right now. That’s really one of the only cravings I’ve had, that and sleep.”
