One Direction Breakup: Harry Styles, Louis Thomlinson Forgive Zayn After New Album?

Time for another One Direction update, folks. Despite weeks of rumors suggesting that One Direction will breakup without Zayn Malik, the boy band announced that they are releasing a new album. Meanwhile, Harry Styles and Louis Thomlinson have apparently forgiven Zayn for leaving the band, despite the latter getting into a very public Twitter feud recently.

Good news, Directioneers. You may get to hear some new One Direction sometime soon.

At least that's how Niall Horan made it seem when he appeared on The Late Late Show with James Cordon, alongside what members still remain in One Direction.

Billboard tells readers that One Direction is already in the studio cranking out new hits:

"Horan announced the group is in the studio, working on a follow up to 2014's Four. 'We're looking forward to bringing out a new record and going on more tours and stuff,' Horan adds. 'We're really enjoying it.' They'll get to prove it when they play their next show June 5 at Cardiff Stadium in Wales."

Niall's confirmation of a new album isn't the only reason that the boys made news for appearing on James Cordon's late night show.

Naturally, the topic of Zayn Malik arose. Shockingly, it was Louis Thomlinson, who recently feuded with Zayn on Twitter, that answered the question.

Turns out the boys may have made peace with each other, as Louis told viewers One Direction is no longer angry at Zayn (via Pop Crush):

"We're on good terms with him...I've never been very good at biting my tongue, maybe I get that from my mum. It's just one of those things. Twitter is great for connecting with the fans, but also if you feel like saying something you probably shouldn't, it's also good for that as well -- or bad, in this case."

What do you think about the latest reports? Did Zayn and Louis really resolve their issues? Who do you think was to blame for the Twitter spat?
