Despite the fact that it's has been widely reported that Taylor Swift is 100 percent dating Calvin Harris by her closest of celebrity friends, the 1989 singer has seemingly split with her new EDM boyfriend for the duration of the Billboard Awards. According to the latest gossip news updates, the "Black Space" Instagram bikini model will be sitting a few seats down form the DJ in order to keep the appearance that she's still single as she debuts her new "Bad Blood" music video tonight at the show. A very pregnant Jamie King is still singing Swift's praises even if she is distancing herself from her Scottish beau, however -- explaining that she picked Taylor to be her baby's godmother because of her wisdom and kindness as opposed to her incredibly fame or popularity.
Although Taylor Swift has been said to be leaning on her new boyfriend, Calvin Harris, pretty heavily since her mother was diagnosed with cancer, the "Bad Blood" recording artist looks to be distancing herself from the popular DJ at tonight's Billboard Awards.
According to the super-sleuths at TMZ, who managed to obtain a shot of Taylor and Calvin's assigned seats, the only reason Swift isn't sitting with her man is she's afraid that being seen together at a major music industry event will hurt her sex-symbol status:
"Taylor Swift's playing the old music game -- make your fans think you're single, 'cause it's good for business -- and that may be why she'll sit 2 seats away from her boo at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards.
"Taylor requested that several of her friends form a human barrier between her and the famous DJ.
"And that's why they call it the music game."
If Taylor Swift did really have her boyfriend scooch down a few chairs to help preserve her single popstar image that pales in comparison to all her other overwhelming attributes explains Jamie King.
During a recent interview with People -- explaining why she asked Swift to be the godmother of her unborn child -- King went on-and-on about how Taylor Swift is the kind kind soul that you know your children will be safe with regardless of how much money they may or may not have in the bank:

"It wasn't because of it was this person and the name, it was really because of her morals and her values and the way that she treats people and how hard-working she is and her family and how close she is to them.
"I see what she gives out there to her fans and to her family and that's the kind of person I want to be the guide and the spiritual protector of my child."
Let's just hope that this kind of career-first attitude doesn't turn Calvin off to the idea of one day having a baby with Taylor himself.
