Hollywood icon Julia Roberts is rumored to have been feuding with everyone form Anne Hathaway to George Clooney's wife, Amal Alamuddin, in recent weeks, but most disturbing of all have been the reports that she and longtime husband, Danny Moder, are on the verge of getting a divorce. According to the latest gossip news updates, however, the Pretty Woman actress is said to have saved their marriage by insisting on therapy and shifting her priorities and focus to their relationship.
Just a couple of months ago all the supermarket tabloids were taking turns reporting that Danny Moder was on the verge of walking away from his marriage to Julia Roberts due to their near constant fighting (via CelebDirtyLaundry):
"They've been desperately trying to make it work, but Danny's reached a breaking point, and he's done."
Thankfully, a source claiming to be close to the couple reveals in the June 1, issue of OK! Magazine that once Julia decided that her relationship meant enough for her to work on making sure her husband was also happy, things turned right around -- seemingly saving the 12-year marriage overnight:
"It was touch and go for them for a while.
"[But] Julia decided that life is too short to give up on the people you love.
"They started talking instead of bickering about their problems."
It would seem that the rumors that Amal Alamuddin hasn't taken to Julia Roberts are less than true as well.
Despite the reports that Amal was so rude to Roberts at a recent dinner with their husbands that George felt that his friendship with his old Hollywood friend might have suffered for it, Julia told Us Weekly that she had an absolutely delightful time during the dinner double date:
"I met her at dinner.
"George doesn't need my approval, but I'm quite enamored with her."
Believe it or not, Julia doesn't even seem to be beefing with Anne Hathaway either.
After hearing the news that Julia Roberts was supposedly fuming with the Devil Wears Prada beauty after she passed on a project they would have costarred in together, Catwoman's reps told Gossip Cop that nothing could be further from the truth:
"We are not aware of any movie they were supposed to do together.
"Anne would be more than thrilled to work with Julia."
So, it looks like everyone in Hollywood just might actually love Julia Roberts after all?
