It seems that Rosie O'Donnell's soon-to-be ex-wife, Michelle Rounds, will not stop acting out until the whole world sides with the former View co-host in their divorce. According to the latest gossip news updates, Rounds is demanding Instagram remove a picture that Rosie posted of their adopted daughter, Dakota, because she claims that she actually took the snapshot and therefor owns all copyrights to the keepsake. Meanwhile, the TV show's producers have seemed to move on since the League of Their Own star quit back in February and are reportedly very close to casting Bill Cosby Show actress , Raven Symone, as O'Donnell's permanent replacement.
It is nothing out of the usual for divorces -- Hollywood or otherwise -- to sometimes turn a little nasty, but Michelle Rounds is seemingly setting a new bar for pettiness as she attempts to make her split from Rosie O'Donnell the worst thing that has ever happened to either of them.
Beacon of truth, TMZ, are reporting that after a judge ordered both parties to stop openly bad mouthing each other, Rounds turned to attacking the content of Rosie's Instagram feed -- demanding that at least one photo be removed from her page since Michelle doesn't believe it belongs to her:
"Michelle Rounds is on the attack, claiming she took a picture of their daughter, Dakota, and Rosie had the nerve to post it on Instagram.
"Michelle says the law is crystal clear -- she took the pic so she owns the rights to it, and therefore Rosie has no right to post the pic anywhere.
"Michelle has contacted Instagram, demanding that the pic be scrubbed from the site. So far the company has taken no action."
Meanwhile, the producers of ABC's The View have apparently found their full-time replacement for Rosie, who suddenly announced she was leaving due to medical issues last February.
A behind-the-scenes insider told Us Weekly, that Raven Symone was on the cusp of signing a deal to join the cast permanently and has been working like crazy to get herself ready in preparation for her new gig (via NY Daily News):
"They think she's really smart but also a little kooky and so she'd be a good fit.
"Every night she studies all the current events and topics for the next day.
"Everyone is blown away. Nobody else prepares like she does!""
Let's just hope her personal life doesn't wind up affecting the show that way that Rosie O'Donnell's divorce very obviously did.
