'Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation' Set To Premiere at Vienna State Opera House This Summer

It was reported last year on Classicalite that Tom Cruise was spotted filming scenes for the upcoming addition to the Mission Impossible series at Austria's Vienna State Opera house. Now, the film will premiere at the same venue this summer in light of Cruise's appearance at the opera house.

It's no surprise that this location was chosen since Cruise and co-star Rebecca Ferguson were seen filming as they repelled the façade on ropes. Cruise, according to Page Six, was seen dangling from a rope in a tux. Ferguson was in a golden gown.

If that wasn't enough, a trailer depicts Cruise in stiff hand-to-hand combat in the theater's wings.

The series often traverses the globe with Cruise as the main character to the recurring film's saga. Perhaps this time the opera can provide some added depth to the narrative.

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation will premiere this summer and will have a New York premiere to follow on July 27, sources say.

Paramount moved the release of the sequel to July 31 from the originally scheduled Christmas date for reasons unknown. A rep spoke out about the premiere and said that plans are "in the works" and could not yet be confirmed.
