After years of making and breaking wedding plans, it looks like all the Simpson ladies will soon find themselves all married at the same time for the first time in history. According to the latest gossip news updates, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson's mom, Tina, is engaged to her landscaper, Jon Goldstein, after two years of dating. Word has it that it won't just be Tina and Jon tying the knot this year either. It's being reported that Jessica and her husband, Eric Johnson will be renewing their vows in an anniversary wedding ceremony, in order to try to reform some of their bad habits before it's too late and they are forced to split.
While Papa Joe Simpson still seems to be working through some things since his divorce from the mother of his children back in 2013, his ex-wife, Tina, is ready to walk down the aisle once again.
A close friend of the family's assured Us Weekly, that although they have only been dating for a about two-years, Jon has long been a part of Tina's life:
"He's a really nice guy.
"He's always cared about Tina.
"He's known them for 15 years and has been a part of their family. He's so happy she said yes! I know he had been planning on asking her for a while."
Meanwhile, Jessica and her husband of less than a year, Eric Johnson, have been rumored to have some issues of their own in recent months, but are reportedly planning a second wedding to renew their vows and get their marriage back on the right track.
According to the informant speaking in the June 15, issue of The National Enquirer, Jessica is asking that Eric give up smoking marijuana for the sake of her sanity, but Johnson has a few stipulations of his own going into their second big day:
"They put on a happy face for the media, but they argue all the time -- mostly about her dieting and his partying
"Eric's [as] think as a plank when he smokes, and she can't stand it...Jessica told him that the ceremony won't happen if he doesn't stop.
"Meanwhile, Eric wants Jessica to quit the diet pills and cut back on the booze -- and she's agreed."
That having all been said, the spy confirms that Eric and Jessica don't see themselves having any problems walking away from the things they have so grown to love and are planning the new wedding for early next month:
"They're shooting for their first anniversary on July 5, or for Jessica's birthday on July 10."
Maybe Ashlee can also renew their vows, and the whole family can just keep getting married year after year until the money finally runs out.
