Dallas Mavericks Consider Tyson Chandler LA Clippers Trade for DeAndre Jordan?

The Dallas Mavericks are using this offseason to consider moves to improve the team. One proposed idea would be to trade away center Tyson Chandler, whom the team just brought back to Dallas last season. The team would like to be able to trade Chandler to the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for their star center DeAndre Jordan. Moving Chandler to the Clippers would mean that the recently named Most Stylish Man of the NBA would be on a championship-quality roster while living in fashionable L.A.

As much as the Mavericks enjoy having Chandler on their roster, the organization knows that it needs to get much younger. Jordan is six years younger than Chandler and led the league in rebounding last year. As Bleacher Report puts it, if Dallas makes the move to trade Chandler, they must handle his departure with class:

"With all of the formalities aside, the Mavs owe it to Chandler to put him in a good situation. They cut him loose following the 2011 championship run, after which he earned Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2012 with the New York Knicks. Doing so again just one season after reacquiring him wouldn't be in good taste."

And Chandler is a man who knows good taste. The move to Los Angeles for Chandler would have the NBA's most stylish man playing in one of the most stylish cities in the world. Chandler won his award from Mashable and gave them a confidant acceptance speech:

"My fashion sense is something I've had to develop over time, but I really enjoy finding creative and stylish ways to convey my personality. For me, it's about a tailored, versatile look that can have you ready for any occasion. I appreciate the nod from the Mashable judges..They got this one right."

Do you think the Mavericks would be better off with Chandler or Jordan patrolling the paint? Do you think Chandler is the NBA's Most Stylish Man? Tell us your thoughts below.
