WATCH JIMEK-Led Polish National Radio Symphony Performs Hip Hop-Hits Medley

Whoever said that hip hop and rap music lacked class can eat their heart out. Conductor Radzimir Debski (JIMEK) led the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra through a mash-up of rhythmic classics, touching on a generation who loves everyone from Wu-Tang to the contemporary Kendrick Lamar.

It wouldn't be the first time hip hop has employed the use of symphonic elements in its music. If you're a fan of 50 Cent, then you can hear a section of brass and strings help push the hook of the song to a new level in his iconic "In da Club" party anthem.

And if you were curious, yes Jay Z also receives a tribute to his "Girls, Girls, Girls" hit as well.

According to High Snobiety:

"Back in March, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra performed a 30-song medley of some of the most influential hip-hop hits from the past 20 years. Arranged and conducted by Radzimir Dębski - better known as JIMEK - the 10-minute-long arrangement opens up with Kendrick Lamar's 'Swimming Pools' before closing out with an original. The entire hip-hop spectrum is explored, with classic tracks like Dr. Dre's 'Still D.R.E.' and Missy Elliott's 'Get Your Freak On' receiving the loudest audience ovations."

Thus, without further ado, here is JIMEX leading the PNRSO through a medley of alternative rap hits. A tracklist follows beneath it.
