Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel Post Baby Update: Golf, Tequila and Charity

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel certainly know how to stay busy, following the recent birth of their first child. Timberlake may have taken paternity leave when son Silas Randall Timberlake was born, but the actor/singer/dancer is getting back in the swing of things. Justin was recently spotted hosting a round of golf, which was organized to promote a fairly happening tequila. Meanwhile, his gorgeous wife Jessica Biel is busy promoting a charity which aims to cure a terminal disease.

There is never a slow moment in the lives of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel. Mr. Timberlake proved that this week, when he was spotted at Lakeside Golf Club in L.A.

Although Justin is known for his love of golf, the outing wasn't just for fun.

As it turns out, Justin hosted the golfing event on behalf of a tequila company named Sauza 901:

"JT and Sauza 901 hosted a little nine-hole golf tourney and tequila tasting at Lakeside Golf Club in Los Angeles, CA, this past Saturday, June 6th...Golf + Tequila... what's not to love?! Better yet, Sauza 901 was kind enough to share one of the recipes from the day -- the Zarza. It's delectable and perfect for summer...some key shots from the tourney..."

Justin isn't the only new parent that finds himself busy this week.

That distinction also belongs to Justin's lovely wife, Jessica Biel. No, she's not hosting a Vodka tournament.

But she is doing her part to raise awareness of a serious disease called Batten Disease.

Producer Gordon Gray, who is known for a number of sports movies, recently called on help from friends and fans in an effort to cure the terminal illness.

The Wrap tells readers that Jessica Biel was among the first celeb to come on board. That's great news for Gordon, as his daughters suffer from the presently incurable disease:

"Gray and his wife, Kristen Kaiser Gray, have launched a social media campaign that has already gotten the support of many powerful figures in Hollywood to find a cure for their daughters, Charlotte, 4, and Gwenyth, 3, who have both been diagnosed with a rare terminal illness called Batten Disease."

Gordon is hoping to raise around $10 million in funding.

What do you think about the latest reports? Have you tried the tequila Timberlake was promoting on the golf course? If not, are you now more likely to try Sauza 901 with Justin on board? Were you even aware of Batten Disease before Biel's involvement?
