2013 Celebrity Deaths Update: Lisa Robin Kelly of ‘That 70s Show’ Found Dead in Rehab, Likely From Drugs

Add another star to the list of celebrity deaths in 2013. Lisa Robin Kelly, who was prominently featured on ‘That 70s Show’ was found dead in rehab. While official reports have yet to say, her passing was likely due to using drugs.

Lisa Robin Kelly was most famous for her portrayal of Eric Foreman’s promiscuous sister on the hit Fox show, That 70s Show. Unfortunately, she has been struggling with drug and alcohol abuse for quite some time.

Kelly got in trouble with the law again, back in June, when her car stalled out off of Interstate 5 in Burbank, California. This led the actress to block an entire lane of traffic on the interstate.

Law enforcement officials received a staggering number of calls, alerting them to the actress’ automotive distress. When the California Highway Patrol stopped to assist the 43-year-old actress, they noticed that she appeared intoxicated.

After conducting a roadside sobriety test, they took the actress to the station for an official DUI test. She failed...resoundingly. After being charged, Kelly was released on a $5,000 bail.

The 43-year-old actress was admitted to rehab for the last time earlier this week. Her boyfriend carried the troubled star to the treatment center on Monday, but it was too late. She died Wednesday night from cardiac arrest.

Needle marks were found on the actresses body, leading many to assume that she was shooting up. Kelly’s boyfriend, however, denied those charges and claimed that the needle marks were from a hospital visit.

When asked for a statement, her agent told the press that, "She had been fighting demons for a while and finally lost her battle."
