Now that the Wolf of Wall Street has a brand new girlfriend in Kelly Rohrbach, Leonardo DiCaprio is cracking down on the tabloids spreading lies about his relationship with Rihanna. According to the latest gossip news updates, Toni Garrn's ex-boyfriend is absolutely livid at one French magazine in particular for running a ridiculous story about Leo supposedly impregnating the Caribbean beauty during the brief time they were said to have dated.
To be fair, Leonardo DiCaprio has been anything but strict when it comes to policing the countless stories about his love life circulating in the supermarket tabloids, but even someone as laid back as Leo has to draw the line somewhere.
According to TMZ, Leo's lawyers are taking a swing at French tabloid, Oops!, for falsely reporting that he was not only dating Rihanna but had actually gotten her pregnant to boot (via Cosmopolitan):
"Leo filed the suit against Oops! for its May 28 cover story... which declares that Leo knocked up RiRi, and will not recognize the baby as his. In the docs, Leo's lawyer calls the story 'pure fantasy.'"
While Leo is no doubt concerned with preserving his reputation as a childless bachelor in France, DiCaprio is even more devoted to educating the world to the benefits or renewable energy.
Earlier this month, Leonardo appeared at the Solutions Project garden party at La Plaza Cultural in New York to talk about the "100%" project the he cofounded with fellow actor Mark Ruffalo (via US News):
"This is a grassroots people's movement but the ambition of this movement is absolutely revolutionary.
"Clean energy grows local economies."
Echoing DiCaprio's sentiments -- Ruffalo pointed out that the time to think of climate change in the terms of red state versus blue state has long past:
"This is really mankind's greatest threat, and it should take some serious problem solving on all of our parts.
"And we don't really have to give up anything to do it. We will be collecting the sun and the wind that falls on us every single day."
Hopefully the gossip mongers will soon leave Leo alone so he can focus on saving the world.
