Despite the fact that they keep making public appearances together at red carpet events, Jennifer Lopez' on-again, off-again boyfriend, Casper Smart, claims that they are just hanging out. According to the latest gossip news updates, when asked if they were dating, the 28-year-old choreographer claimed that they had "nothing to announce" but promised that when they did they'd let everyone know. In a related story, the American Idol judge explained that it's as important to her that the show she produces for ABC, The Fosters, is a culturally diverse as it is compelling to watch.
While most Jennifer Lopez fans likely interpreted all their recent public outings together as evidence that the 'Booty" beauty was dating former boyfriend, Casper Smart, once again, he claims that that just isn't the case.
When the conversation he was having with Extra turned towards Smart's relationship with J Lo, Casper claimed that there was absolutely nothing there to report for the time being:
"Today it's just fun, just having a good time.
"If we have anything to announce, we will let everybody know, we're just hanging out."
For her part, Jennifer Lopez usually has even less to say about how things are going behind-the-scenes with her Instagram cheating ex, but had no problem opening up to Variety about her relationship with The Fosters.
Jenny from the block explained that one of the reasons she's so proud to be the executive producer on the ABC sitcom has to do with its accurate depiction of the diverse society we have here in America:
"When I was growing up, the families around me were not reflected in television or film.
"I wanted to be part of The Fosters because of the show's depiction of a diverse society.
"While our family compositions might differ, ultimately the experiences of a family are universal, and I'm proud to be part of a show that reminds us that regardless of skin color or sexual orientation, we can all identify with one another."
If Jennifer could just manage to bring that kind of determination and focus to her personal life, she wouldn't have to try to pretend she's not dating this or that person just to save a little face.
