While Mariah Carey seems to have her first serious boyfriend since announcing her divorce to America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon, her husband's relationship to supposed girlfriend, Jessica White, is said to have hit a rough spot. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Wild N' Out star recently broke up with the model turned singer. Mariah on the other hand has been seeing the world with her new billionaire beau as reports that they will soon be engaged continue to surface.
Mariah Carey may be having the time of her life as she jet sets with her new billionaire boyfriend, James Packer, from his aircraft carrier sized yacht to dinner with the Prime Minster of Israel, but Nick Cannon's love life sadly is said to be quite a bit more lackluster.
According to the New York Daily News, Nick's temporary move to New York while his rumored girlfriend stayed in L.A. was the death knell of their romantic relationship:
"Nick Cannon and Jessica White are kaput -- for now.
"The duo are 'rocky' at the moment with White living full time in Los Angeles and Cannon on the East Coast hosting America's Got Talent.
"The couple run hot and cold, sometimes speaking one week before going silent the next."
Mariah Carey's current relationship with James Packer, on the other hand, is said to be on the fast track to a speedy engagement once the Infinity singer finalizes her divorce to Cannon.
As happy as everyone would be to see Mariah happily married once again, the source that E! News spoke to insisted that it was a bit premature to start shopping for wedding presents just yet:
"They are not talking marriage. That's ridiculous.
"She's enjoying his company, but she's also trying to remain cautious.
"She hasn't 100 percent let him in yet."
Although a month has made quite a difference in both Nick Cannon and soon-to-be ex-wife, Mariah Carey's personal lives, there is little doubt that they both will wind up living happily ever after before long.
