In recent months the supermarket tabloids have been almost constantly reporting that Jessica Simpson's drinking has supposedly gotten so out of control that it is said to be affecting her relationship with her husband, Eric Johnson, as well as her family. According to the latest gossip news updates, however, the happily married couple look nowhere near divorce in their latest Instagram updates -- no matter how hammered Daisy Duke is rumored to get at her brother-in-law's shows.
For much of 2015, Jessica Simpson has been conversely praised for getting back to her Dukes of Hazzard wrestling weight or publicly being shamed for presumably having too much to drink.
It was reported a few weeks ago, however, that things had recently come to a head with her husband, after Eric Johnson appeared to have to practically carry his wife out of the Sayers Club once Simpson's drunken antics got out of hand.
One eyewitness claimed in the June 22, issue of InTouch Weekly that Jessica seemed to be really enjoying herself, when all of a sudden it became terribly apparent that she was too drunk to even stand:
"Jess was having a blast dancing to all of Evan's songs...but after several cocktails she couldn't even stand up straight. She was swaying back and forth, and her dress was falling off!
"He was taking her drinks away and trying to get her to sit down, but she wouldn't listen to him.
"Eventually Eric realized he had to get her out of there...[but] he had to hold her up when they left."
From the looks of her past few posts on Instagram, however, their family unit seems to be as strong as ever, despite a night or two out on the town:

So, it looks like Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have everything very much under control, despite anything you might have previously read to the contrary.
