Arielle Baril, 11-Year-Old Opera Singing Prodigy, Wows 'America's Got Talent'

Jackie Evancho may not be the only prodigy to hit the opera scene as of late. Arielle Baril, an 11-year-old who is more than comfortable performing nationally, has wowed audiences on the stage that Evancho sang before her--America's Got Talent.

According to People, Arielle Baril is a student at Drexel Hill Middle School who astonished the crowd on the episode of America's Got Talent that aired Tuesday night.

Young talent is hard to come by, obviously, but a voice this pristine needs to be noticed, and it's almost cosmic that AGT was able to provide the foundation needed to propel such a talent to national stardom.

Her voice is so impressive, Heidi Klum felt it necessary to pass her through to the finals with a golden ticket.

All judges agree, with Klum going insofar as to wonder, "Is she singing playback?"

The prodigy also matches her talent with a humility that can contend with the likes of her peers and beyond. Maintaining a stoic façade, it wasn't clear until the end that Arielle possessed such a magnificent talent.

Being humble may take her far, but it's the weight of her talent that will really contribute to her meteoric rise to fame.

Well-done, indeed, Ms. Baril.

Is she better than Jackie Evancho? We'll let you decide by listening to the pair below. Give them a fair shot.
