P Diddy’s Danity Kane 2013 Reunion Tour Confirmed by ‘Making the Band’ Stars at VMAs

Danity Kane, the group formed by P Diddy on Making the Band, have confirmed that they will be performing a reunion tour. The announcement came at the 2013 VMAs.

Danity Kane proudly announced that the group would be getting back together again to a sea of excited fans at the Video Music Awards.

The group was first formed by Puff Daddy (or whatever he’s calling himself these days) on the MTV show Making the Band. That was back in 2005 and the group has not appeared together in MANY years since then.

According to MTV News:

"’We're baaaack!’ the women collectively announced Sunday night (August 25). The group, whose roster now consists of Aubrey, Aundrea, Dawn and Shannon, looked gorgeous on the red carpet and teased that their new song will be called "Rage." They said they're ‘on their own this time,’ without Diddy.”

The group experienced some commercial success but called it quits in 2009. Dawn Richards, bandmate, had this to say about their split:

"You'll see me and Drea [Aundrea Fimbres] try and pick up the pieces on our own [on this season's show] pieces that we didn't even make. We didn't even break it and we're trying to sweep it up ourselves. Puff invited all the girls to come back on this season and they chose not to. Only two of us showed up. That's fine if that's the choice."

After so many years, many are wondering if the reunion even makes sense. What do you think?
