Maddie Ziegler is taking over the world. The Dance Moms starlets stock rose to great heights after she appeared in three of Sia’s music videos (“Chandelier,” “Elastic Heart,” “Big Girls Cry”). Recently, Ziegler got the chance to play dead on ABC Family’s hit show Pretty Little Liars. Check out Maddie’s ghostly dance below.
Recently, Pretty Little Liars executive producer Oliver Goldstick opened up to Entertainment Weekly about how the scene came to be:
“Maddie is represented by the same agency that I am. They called me last year toward the end of the season and said, ‘Can you put Maddie in it? Maddie’s a huge fan of the show.’”
This isn’t the show’s first dance sequence, so Goldstick had to exercise some caution to avoid crossing genres:
“I didn’t believe [that] with three episodes left in the season [that] I could ask for another dance sequence without them saying, ‘Oliver, this is not Glee. You can’t keep doing this to us,’”
