Spoiler Alert: When we saw Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) he had put his Green Arrow persona behind him and was heading off into sunset with Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards). Now, Amell, who was recently cast as April O'Neil’s (Megan Fox) boyfriend Casey Jones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, is dishing on Arrow Season 4, Olicity and time jump from Season 3.
Recently, Stephen Amell opened up to TV Junkies about all things Season 4, including his future with Felicity (via Comic Book Movie):
“Well you never know, but I think if anyone has a decent chance it’s Oliver and Felicity. Time will tell."
Speaking of time, Amell came under fire for disguising the time jump between Season 3 and Season 4, which he went on to clear up:
"When I said there was a time jump people were like, ‘Oh my God really?’ I didn’t think that was very spoilery because the show has always followed chronologically when we air. Whenever we’ve taken a break and go off the air from May till October, when we leave it’s May and when we come back it’s October."
With all the changes that we are expecting in Season 4, Amell went on to explain that it will still be familiar to fans:
"It still feels like our show but there are different elements that I think people are going to enjoy. We get to see some characters interact that weren’t always the closest of friends or interacting on a regular basis which is neat when you’re doing new stuff in the fourth season of a show."
