For Modern Family star Sofia Vergara maintaining the perfect relationship with Magic Mike XXL finance Joe Manganiello has as much to do with what she isn't willing to and she is. According to the latest gossip news updates, Sofia bluntly rebuffed Joe's idea that they star in a movie together -- explaining point blank that she isn't going to allow them to make the same mistake that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez once did. In addition to putting the kibosh on a Gigli reboot, word has it that Sofia also nixed her boyfriend's plans to have a baby, following her ex, Nick Loeb, trying to sue her to have their frozen embryos brought to term.
Sofia Vergara is often just as sweet as she is sexy, but the Columbian transplant doesn't mind putting her foot down in her relationship with Joe Manganiello from time to time.
During a recent interview with Haute Living, Joe recalled an instance wherein Sofia let him know in no uncertain terms exactly what she thought about movies cast with Hollywood's hot new power couples:
"I gave her the script and was like 'Please read this. It's such a good part for you and it's amazing for me,' and she said, 'No, I'm not going to make Gigli,' and kind of threw it on the ground.
"We get along so well together; I'm so lucky to have found that right person for me, and I know she feels the same way. We're really good with each other.
"Why risk f*cking that up?"
According to Joe's Pee-Wee's Big Holiday costar, David Arquette, Sofia's putting her foot down about starting a family together may be too much for the True Blood werewolf to take.
The Wild Bill actor explains in the July 13, issue of Star magazine, that Manganiello seemed absolutely psyched to start having kids with the love of his life, but Vergara just doesn't seem see the need:
"Joe want children with Sofia -- and in the near future. I know he'd be a great father, but Sofia isn't thrilled about the idea of kids."
Let's hope that whatever Sofia and Joe decide, they have sense enough to do it before they get married.
