It looks like Selene Gomez may have missed her chance to make Justin Bieber jealous after all. According to the latest gossip news updates, Taylor Swift's British bestie, Ed Sheeran, is currently dating Irish supermodel, Louise Johnston. Word has it that if Bieber's ex-girlfriend was hoping to make something happen with the "Don't" singer, she clearly missed her chance.
Late last month, Selena Gomez was seen out and about in L.A. with Taylor Swift bestie and hit collaborator, Ed Sheeran.
One source in the July 13, issue of Star magazine claims that although it definitely wasn't love at first sight, Selena was certainly starting to come around to the idea of a new English boyfriend, just like her 1989 superstar:
"Selena's only ever seen Ed as a friend, but she's warming up to the idea that there could be more there.
"She's definitely enjoys spending time with him."
Sadly, the days of spending time alone with Sheeran may already be long gone according to the Irish Mirror, who reports that Ed is actually already seriously involved with Irish beauty, Loiuse Johnston (via Inquistir):

"Louise and Ed have been friends for years but now they have become a lot closer.
"They are constantly in touch, even when he is on tour, but he is coming here soon for a gig in Dublin and they will be able to catch up then. Friends and family now know, so it is out there.
"Louise really cares about him and it's going very well."
Selena won't be alone for too long judging by One Direction singer Niall Horan's habit of publicly putting the moves of all of Ed's ex-girlfriends.
After reportedly causing Ed to split with Ellie Goulding, Harry Style's band mate, reports the Daily Mail, was recently seen getting pretty touchy feely with Sheeran's last official flame, Athina Andrelos:
"Niall Horan has been partying it up - with none other than Ed Sheeran's ex.
"Athina Andrelos, who split from the acoustic singer in March, was spotted by Niall's side at the The Box in Soho, London on Friday."
So, just hold Selena Gomez; Niall Horan will no doubt be headed your direction sooner than later.
