Rumors that Kris Jenner is divorcing her longtime husband Bruce Jenner continue to fly in 2013. The latest break up claims come after Kris’ new show, of the same name, was canceled by Fox. The Kardashians’ momager may be good at generating press, but she was canned for not delivering the ratings.
Gossip site Radar Online quoted an insider source that claims Kris Jenner received word from Fox that her new show, Kris, would be canceled. But with a .8 ratings, can it really come as a surprise to the fame obsessed grandma?
An insider who wished to retain his anonymity told the gossip site:
“There is no chance the talk show is going to get a green light from FOX. The ratings were averaging an abysmal 0.8 and advertisers were less than enthusiastic about it. Kris did get a ratings bump for her last show when Kanye West revealed the first baby pic of daughter, North West, with Kim, but that was a one time shot in the arm and it wouldn’t be indicative of what the ratings trend would be.”
Turns out her latest gimmick, revealing the first photos of North West and a one-on-one interview with Kanye West failed to save the struggling show. According to the source, the announcement will be made officially by Fox on Friday.
Kris has been going through a pretty rough patch lately, considering all of the negative publicity her personal life has been generating. Each week, she and husband Bruce Jenner star on the cover of countless tabloids (all of which are claiming the pair are splitting.”
Numerous reports indicate that the couple has already separated. Bruce spends most of his time at a Malibu rental, while Kris lives in the family’s Calabasas' estate.
