Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are likely to break up in 2013. This is especially true, considering Odom was recently arrested for a DUI. The announcement comes after rumors that Khloe Kardashian has filed for separation.
If there’s one thing the Kardashians are good at it’s generating press. Unfortunately, they may not be getting the kind of attention they want, especially when it comes to Khloe and her husband, Lamar.
For months now, the cover of nearly every tabloid has featured stories alleging that the NBA star has cheated on Khloe with multiple women. One of the women--Polina Polonsky--gave a tell all interview with Star Magazine and passed a lie detector test.
Cheating isn’t the only allegation being thrown at Lamar. Last week, Odom vanished for 72 hours. While his spokesman denied the claims, it appeared that Khloe did not know where the athlete was staying.
It was rumored that he left Khloe after she demanded that he go to rehab and address his drug abuse. This wouldn’t be the first time Lamar went to rehab. Last summer, the Kardashians convinced him to enroll, but he lasted only three weeks before leaving.
Now, matters have gotten even worse. In the early hours of Wednesday, August 30, Lamar was charged with a DUI. As usual, E! News ran a report almost immediately:
“According to a report of Odom's arrest, he was pulled over on the 101 freeway and given a field sobriety test, which he was unable to complete. He then refused a chemical test and was arrested ‘for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs’ without further incident. He was released from a Van Nuys area jail at 8:33 a.m. [Wednesday] morning.”
He was released on a $15,000 bail.
