George Clooney Wife Amal Alamuddin Pregnant with Batman’s Baby? [NEWS]

Now that they are coming up on their first wedding anniversary, George Clooney and his wife Amal Alamuddin are said to be getting serious about having a baby. According to the latest gossip new updates, Batman and his bride have set aside time for an extended summer vacation at his Lake Como estate in Italy, to try to get pregnant. Of course, the Clooneys could just be having one last hooray at the lavish mansion that Clooney is said to be close to selling for upwards of $100 million.

After being fooled once by George Clooney's insistence through the years that he was never going to get married, it would seem that the supermarket tabloids are determined to not let the same thing happen again.

While the 54-year-old Hollywood icon has insisted time-and-time again that he still doesn't really plan on having children with Amal, a source in the latest August 10, issue of OK! Magazine claims George and his bride are deadset on starting a family:

"Amal is proud not only to be the women that caught George after all these years, but also the only one he's considered having kids with...[she] is more than ready to be a mother."

According to the supposed expert, the whole reason Amal and George ultimately decided to take an extended vacation in Italy was so they could get started on making time for baby number one:

"The time they are spending together in Como is really special.

"George has never been happier, and Amal loves how enthusiastic he is about the prospect of fatherhood."

Of Course, their stay at the lake house in Italy could be the Clooneys way of saying good-bye to the old place, which Variety reports may soon net George ten times what he paid for it:

"The newly married Hollywood royal...might be persuaded to accept 'an offer of as much as $100 million' for Villa Oleandra, an 18th century lakeside villa in Laglio on the swanky shores of Italy's sublimely scenic Lake Como.

"Clooney, who purchased the mansion from the Heinz family in 2002 for about $10 million, has apparently grown weary of the paparazzi that swarm."

Whatever the couple's intentions for the Lake Como home or their summer vacation, People confirmed, that they certainly seemed to be enjoy spending some of the last few weeks of summer soaking up the Italian summer sun:

"The couple that rides together, stays together.

"Amal Clooney is learning to love husband George's passion for motorcycles, as the couple were spotted out for a ride in Laglio, Lake Como, this week."
