Princess Kate Mother Angry after Queen Boycotts Prince George Birthday?

Now that baby Charlotte has been born, it seems that Queen Elizabeth is once again boycotting Prince Williams's wife Duchess Kate Middleton. According to the latest gossip news updates, Her Majesty supposedly sent her husband Prince Phillip, alone to Prince George's second birthday party, because she want's nothing to do with the new princess. It's said that Middleton's mother is furious at the slight and is tired of being talked down to by a former Nazi.

While everyone in town seems to line up around the block to show respect to the future kind in HBO's Game of Thrones, they apparently don't seem to take things quite so seriously in England.

Word has it that despite his being Prince William's first born and only son, Queen Elizabeth seemingly just couldn't be bothered to attend Prince George's recent birthday party.

One source in the latest August 10, issue Life & Style magazine claims that whatever her reasons for not making the trip from Buckingham Palace alongside her husband, Prince William, the Middleton's are now convinced that Queen Elizabeth wants to beef:

"This would have been the perfect opportunity for the queen to show her support for Kate.

"After all, she went to George's first birthday at Kensington Palace.

"The Middleton's felt that the message they were getting from the queen was definitely a disproving one...There are clearly some tensions."

An eyewitness from the party at Kate and William's country retreat, Anmer Hall, told Star that while his grandmother and father might not have made it, his brother, Prince Harry, wouldn't have missed it for the world:

"Uncle Harry got him a practical joke set for his birthday.

"Right now he's leaving whoopee cushions in secret places (with the help of his doting nanny), then laughs 'till he cries when someone sits down on one!

"His nanny scolded him the other week when he left one in Charlotte's crib. He wanted her to have a laugh too!"

What do you think about the Queen's supposed boycott of Princess Kate's party?

Is the 87-year-old's royal prerogative to take some time to herself whenever she might need it?

Or, are the Middleton's right in readying themselves for an all-out feud with ole Lizzie?
