From the outside looking in, it is hard to tell exactly why Kylie Jenner seemed so upset at her Keeping Up with the Kardashians' dad, Caitlyn Jenner, recently excepting the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs, but there are several prevailing theories. According to the latest gossip news updates, Kylie is not handling her father's public transgender transformation very well -- as evidence by her tearful breakdown last Wednesday night. Another rumor claims , however, that Kim's little sister is terribly upset at the tabloids' claiming that her 25-year-old boyfriend, Tyga, has been having an affair with transgender actress, Mia Isabella, for the past three years and was crying at the highly publicized event because it made her think of their forthcoming split.
While Caitlyn Jenner's speech at the ESPY awards on July 15, no doubt inspired thousands of members of the transgender community the world over, her daughter, Kylie, seemed the most moved of her family members in attendance.
Although the most obvious explanation would seem to be that the 17-year-old was so proud to see her dad honored for her courage that Kylie was moved to tears, the behind-the-scenes source that Radar Online spoke to claims that the exact opposite may have actually been the case:
"Kylie has not been taking this whole thing well at all and cannot come to terms with the fact that her father is now Caitlyn.
"She used to be daddy's girl but ever since her dad transitioned, Caitlyn does not seem to have the same time for Kylie that Bruce once did.
"It bothers her a lot and last night while everyone in the family was crying tears of joy, her tears were of sorrow."
The family insider that Hollywood Life spoke to, on the other hand, insists that Cait and Kylie are "extremely close" and that the model's emotional outburst had more to do with her boyfriend's supposed transgender issues than it did her father's:
"Her relationship with Tyga has been really stressful too and now she's getting an onslaught of internet trolls hating on her because of the accusations that he's been cheating on her with a transgender woman."
Whatever happens between Kylie and Tyga, it's good to know that the youngest Keeping Up with the Kardashian's cast member will always have her very brave dad right by her side supporting her.
