Word has it that Kourtney Kardashian is less than thrilled at the prospect, but her mother, Kris Jenner, is insisting that she reconcile with Scott Disick for the sake of Keeping Up with the Kardashians' ratings. According to the latest gossip news updates, everyone at E! is afraid that the popular reality TV show will take a hit if the series loses its most exciting cast member. For her part, Kourt is said to be even more upset by the news that they have to get back together than she was by their breakup, but Lord Disick is supposedly thrilled to have another shot with the mother of his three kids.
Although 10 years seems like enough time to know whether you want to be with someone or not, the producers on Keeping Up with the Kardashians along with her mom Kris Jenner are said to be pushing Kourtney K to try to work things out once again with Scott Disick.
One source in the latest August 17, issue of Life & Style reveals that despite her obvious objections, the powers that be want Disick back before they start to shoot the next season of the show:
"Scott is one of the key players on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
"E! obviously cares about Kourtney's feelings...But the truth is, Scott I better on screen that she is
"They'd hate to lose their biggest ratings warner -- especially when they has to contractually pay him anyways."
While Kourtney may not be thrilled with the idea of having Scott back in the house, Disick is said to be super-excited at a yet another chance to win back his longtime girlfriend.
A behind-the-scenes insider told E! News that Scott wanted nothing more than to move back in and prove his willingness to change for the sake of his family:
"Scott is adamant that his kids will not grow up without a father. He wants to be there for them.
"He knows he has to prove himself to Kourtney. He needs to show her he can be an adult. That's all she wants.
"She knows he likes to party, but she wants an adult who will be there for her and the family every day."
