It’s another week, which means rumors are flying about what celebrities may be pregnant in 2013. This week, that list includes the likes of Blake Lively, LeAnn Rimes and Selena Gomez. Are these stars expecting babies or is it just more tabloid fodder? We’ve got the latest update on the maybe pregnant celebs.
We at Classicalite feel confident in saying that Selena Gomez is not pregnant. The rumors were first started back in May when Gomez canceled a VEVO UK Twitter chat. Selena issued the following statement on her Twitter account, telling followers:
“Sorry to everyone for having to cancel today. I am not sure if I am sick or ate some bad food but, I feel horrible. I am going to take the rest of the day and try and get better for tomorrow. So Sorry :( Love you guys.”
And that’s all it took for gossip sites and Twitter users to conclude that the young starlet was expecting a child. Since then, the story has been recycled multiple times by gossip sites.
Next up is country singer LeAnn Rimes. Her pregnancy rumors were started when photos were released of Rimes that showed noticeable weight gain. A source close to the singer allegedly spoke to OK! Magazine, telling the gossip magazine:
“She’s keeping the cards close to her chest, but she’s dropping hints like crazy. When a guest congratulated her on the good news, LeAnn started giggling and put her finger to her lips, telling the group she would tell them when she was ready. She looked like the cat who ate the canary. She was beaming.”
Blake Lively, too, could not escape the celebrity pregnancy rumor mill. For months, tabloids have been claiming that she was expecting her first child, with actor Ryan Reynolds. According to Lively’s publicist, these accusations are totally fictional.
