Word has it that Khloé Kardashian may soon be beefing up her security thanks to a frightening run in she had with her ex-husband, Lamar Odom. According to the latest gossip news updates, the former NBA star was unhappy with his former wife's current relationship with James Harden, and apparently wanted to get some things off his chest. Or course, Lamar could just be upset with Khloé supposedly taking $12 million of his net worth in their divorce. Whatever the case, Kim K, is said to be looking into hiring some professional bodyguard for her sister, to make sure that nothing like this ever happens again.
It would seem that Lamar Odom sent Khloé Kardashian's camp into a tailspin earlier yesterday when he reportedly surprised his ex-wife at her local gym to talk about her relationship with Houston Rochets' James Hardin.
The insider that People spoke to explained that, given Lamar's history, everyone was afraid of just what he intended to do:
"It was a really scary morning. She was totally freaked out, she had no idea how he found her.
"Not only was it a surprise to see him, but it truly was a scary interaction.
"She was absolutely emotionally shaken from this."
Another behind-the-scenes source told Perez Hilton that upon hearing the news, Kim Kardashian decided it was high time they hired some professionals to keep Khloé safe from her unpredictable ex-husband:
"It made Khloé first shocked and then scared that Lamar was waiting outside the studio.
"Kim is encouraging her to get a bodyguard. She told Khloé that his behavior is inappropriate, and she needs to nip it in the bud before it escalates. Kim says that there's no reasoning with Lamar right now, so it's better to be safe than sorry."
"Khloé is in full agreement, and they're going to start looking into private security right away."
One source in the latest August 24, issue of Life & Style claims that Khloé certainly will have no problem paying for the added security thanks to the plump divorce settlement she got from leaving Odom:
"Khloé netted a generous divorce settlement valued at $12 million.
"The only thing she didn't get from Lamar was his Miami home...She made out like a bandit!"
