Like her or not, Miley Cyrus has definitely earned her place in the pop culture history books. Working grueling hours at very young age and carrying a brand on your shoulders can do a number on anyone. As it turns out, The Hannah Montana star might not have had the best both worlds after all. There are new reports coming about how grueling life may had been for the Disney Channel star. This comes after recent reports that Miley is addicted to drugs. In Touch Magazine recently spoke with an unnamed insider who detailed just how trying Miley’s time as Disney’s cash cow was:
“She would break down crying in her dressing room and just want to go home, but she had no choice but to work. She was Disney’s cash machine and she felt the weight of the world on her shoulders.”
The publication went on to quote Miley herself, talking about the pressures of being a Disney Channel mega star:
“Every morning, I was getting coffee jammed down my throat to wake up. I’d get hot flashes , feel like I was about to pass out or throw up… The anxiety started coming ...You get in this hole that seems like you’re never going to be able to get out of.”
It sounds like some of Miley’s problems may have stretched over into her adult career.
Life & Style recently reported on her rapid and drastic weight loss, citing an unnamed source in their July 20 issue:
“We realized that the whole vegan story is just a cover. What’s really going on is that Miley has a new friend: downers.”
A second insider alleged that Miley was now taking Molly to Xanax, stating:
“She has been taking it every day for a year now. Sometimes I’ve seen her take it multiple times per day. Miley started using it help her calm down while she was on tour , but she never stopped… She’ll already be on Xanax, but she will still drink and take Molly or smoke week in the evenings. So she;s super messed up.”
