Chris Jericho Thinks Ronda Rousey is More Powerful than Hillary Clinton

Ronda Rousey is one of the most dominant athletes in the history of any sport and she has been in the news almost nonstop throughout her career. Chris Jericho, a WWE superstar, gave her even more publicity by saying that he believes she is more powerful than democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Both women are extremely popular, which makes this story even more intriguing.

"Ronda Rousey, I think everybody in the country knows who she is and appreciates what she does. She kicks ass, she's a pretty girl, she's a good actress," Jericho said. "Everything that the women's movement or the empowerment of women, she's the poster girl. Everybody likes her. So, Hillary Clinton, 30 percent of the country is voting, 15 percent like her, 15 percent hate her. And the country we're in, 98 percent of people know who Ronda Rousey is and they like her. So, she's more powerful."

He certainly makes sense and most of the country likely agrees that Rousey is more liked and influential. That being said, as Mike Dyce of FanSided.com noted, it's hard to say that a fighter is more powerful than a United States senator and presidential candidate.

Needless to say, this is a very interesting debate that quite a few people will have differing opinions on. Rousey is, without question, one of the most powerful women on the globe from a pure strength standpoint, but she is also known as a very smart woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind.

Combining sheer strength and the ability to fight with good looks and an even better personality makes her one of the most influential and like people on the planet, not just among women.

It will be very interesting to see what the future holds for Rousey. She is currently undefeated and there is no opponent in sight that anyone would give much of a chance to beat her.

Clinton has a chance to show just how much power she has in the upcoming presidential election. She is currently viewed as the leading candidate for the democratic party, but there is a lot of negative press that is surrounding her. That is what makes Jericho be able to make this kind of statement and he certainly isn't wrong for making it.

What do you readers think about this debate? Do you think Rousey or Clinton is more powerful and who do you like more?
