Forget the Bat Signal, Batman actor Ben Affleck in back in the tabloid spotlight. New reports are coming out Ben’s alleged addiction to gambling and alcohol are coming out. Following their divorce announcement an alleged affair with (possibly pregnant nanny) Christine Ouzounian, Jennifer Garner is reportedly trying to get Ben to go to rehab. Apparently The Dark Knight has been day drinking.
An unnamed insider recently spoke with In Touch Weekly about Jen’s issues with Ben’s allegedly, “day drinking,” saying:
“Ben’s battle with alcoholism has been rearing its ugly head. Jen says he’s been drinking throughout the day.”
US Weekly recently reported on an anonymous source who opened up about Jennifer Garner’s balancing effect on Ben’s bad habits:
"From the smoking to drinking and gambling, she has always been the one person who can get through to him."
Now, it seems Ben’s main support system seems to be his best friend Matt Damon and his agent Patrick Whitesell as an unnamed insider tells Radar Online:
“Ben’s taking all the blame for the end of his marriage. He didn’t want her to leave, but he gave her no choice. He’s really in bad shape and Matt and Pat are urging him to get past this as quickly as possible and stay focused on the work ahead of him.”
