Sure, Eddie Murphy's ex-wife, Nicole, might sometimes go out to dinner or have a drink with Nick Cannon, but that doesn't mean that she is dating the America's Got Talent host. According to the latest gossip news updates, the 47-year-old stunner insists that she is just friends with the Wild N' Out star, despite anything you might have heard to the contrary. In a related story, Nick's soon-to-be ex-wife, Mariah Carey is said to already be pregnant with billionaire boyfriend James Packer's baby. At this rate, the "Hero" singer may very well have another kid before her divorce has even been finalized.
On several occasions the supermarket tabloids have claimed that Nick Cannon and Nicole Murphy are a secret couple, as evidenced by their not-so-secret outings together, but she insists that there is just no truth to those rumors.
When asked point blank about her relationship with Cannon by Bleu Bombshell, Murphy explained that just because you eat a meal with someone doesn't make them your boyfriend:
"We're just friends. He's a good guy but we're just good friends. I see him we say hi, we hang out. We grab something to eat, but that's about it.
"I'm currently single, focusing on me. I've been in relationships for quite a long time so it's nice to be single and do whatever I want."
Nick ex, Mariah Carey is definitely dating Aussie billionaire James Packer, however, and word has it that they couldn't be more serious about settling down with one another.
One insider told New Idea, that although they had not made any official announcements, Mariah was already very much pregnant with a little baby billionaire (via In Touch):
"Mariah found out the baby news recently and they're overjoyed at the prospect of being parents.
"She adores James and it's well-known within her social circle that she would love to have children with him."
As exciting as that all sounds, E! News is calling BS as they remind everyone that Mariah has already gone on record years ago as saying that she is never going to be putting her body through that again:
"If Nick could have the babies himself, then yeah, bring 'em on.
"Carrying two babies. I had serious back problems...I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to walk properly again. It was a huge strain."
