Brody Jenner is doing the usual press junkets, but this time he’s not holding back. The reality-TV star is talking about Kris and Bruce Jenner’s split. Brody also dished about his sometimes problematic relationship with Kris, Kim Kardashian’s mom, telling a magazine that he didn’t trust her for a very long time.
The Kardashian clan can’t seem to catch a break. As of late, it’s been Khloe and Lamar who have dominated the tabloids. Now, however, it appears that Brody has jumped on the negative-press bandwagon.
In an interview with Now Magazine, a U.K. based publication, Brody spoke about his relationship with his step-mother:
‘My relationship [with Kris] is getting better now, but for a long time growing up I didn’t see her that much and didn’t trust her intentions. We didn’t have the best relationship — not just with her, with my father Bruce, too.”
Brody also confirmed that Bruce and Kris have begun sleeping in separate houses, as a number of tabloids reported over the summer. Turns out the reports were totally true, however, Brody denied that Kris and Bruce were getting a divorce:
“I stay out of their business, but as far as I’m concerned, they haven’t split up. Dad’s been in Malibu — he grew up out here — and the press has made a big deal of it. It’s nothing to do with them breaking up.”
Brody did go on to tell the magazine that Bruce left because he needed some time alone.
