Although you couldn't tell it from looking at them, Tom Brady is said to be seriously contemplating getting a divorce from Gisele Bundchen. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Patriots quarterback was looking in to having a statement of their net worth drawn up presumably in preparation for their split. Despite his possibly being the most famous football player in the NFL for more than a decade, Tom Brady is said to almost look like a pauper when compared to the amount of money his wife has made strutting around in her underwear for Victoria's Secret.
While they are presenting a united front whenever they are in public, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are said to be having serious marital issues.
One source in the latest September 21, issue of In Touch explains that Tom might have awoken a sleeping dragon when it was revealed that he had sort of taken the first steps into looking into how financially advantageous it might be for him to get a divorce:
"Their marriage has been under a huge amount of strain in recent months as they've dealt with a string of issues...[and] things will get even uglier if Tom and Gisele decide to end their marriage for good.
"A divorce could trigger a $460 million court battle and a bitter fight over money as well as custody of their two kids...Gisele knows that is she left Tom, he'd go straight for her money."
For his part, Brady denied that anything was even remotely wrong with their marriage when speaking to Boston's WEEI 93.7 FM last week.
Although ,the 4-time Super Bowl winner certainly didn't bother defending their union point by point, Brady explained that he and his wife are as close as any happily married couple (via People):
"We're in a great place, I'll just say that.
"I'm a lucky man. I've been very blessed with support from my family and certainly her, and there's no bigger supporter that I have than her and vice versa.
"I've been very blessed to have an incredible relationship with my life partner, and I don't think anything will ever get in the way of that."
