Rumors that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian may be planning a wedding has intensified. The latest claims comes after it was reported that the Yeezus artist forced KK to return her wedding wing to ex-husband, Kris Humphries. Will the parents of North West really say “I do” or is this just more tabloid rumors?
According to Star Magazine, a popular U.S. tabloid, it was Kanye West who made Kim Kardashian return her million-dollar wedding ring to ex-husband Kris Humphries. It was announced earlier in the month that Kris was going to auction off the rock at a Christie’s auction.
Kim wanted to hold on to the ring, considering it had a retail value of over $2 million. Kanye wasn’t having any of it and felt threatened that Kim wanted to hold on to a gift that her ex-husband gave her, as a source revealed:
“Kanye was enraged. He didn’t understand why she’d want to keep something from her ex-husband...Kanye told Kim that she’s the most selfish woman he’s ever met.”
Of course, many are claiming that Kanye wants to give Kim a new ring. Rumors flared over the summer, when claims were made that the couple was going to wed in Paris.
Some insiders believe that Kanye will never marry Kim, despite the fact that they both have a child together. A sour taste was left in the rappers mouth after he watched Kim’s first wedding dissolve within 72 days.
If there is any hesitation to carry his relationship with KK to the next level, it wasn’t apparent when the Grammy award winning artist appeared on Kris Jenner’s show. While his appearance wasn’t enough to save the show, he did reveal:
"I was in love with her before I even got to even talk to her. Of course being in the limelight you have to have a match or like, someone that's equally yoked and it's difficult. ... And when I would be on the phone with her, even at my lowest moment, she'd give me energy and remind me of who I was, and I needed that support at all times."
If Kanye is looking for a wedding ring for Kim, then he may want to try that same Christie’s auction. Kim’s old ring is expected to fetch only $300,000 at the sale.
