Jennifer Lopez, who is known for her diva-like behavior, seems to be making things quite rough on the set of American Idol. Rumors are that the judge has gone out of control with power and even demanded that her boyfriend Casper Smart be put on the payroll. This comes after it was revealed that Jenn is raking in an astonishing salary.
Making outrageous demands is one of Jennifer Lopez’ hallmark signatures--listed right under her booty and way above her singing career. It seems like Jenny from the block has turned into Jenny from Beverly Hills.
U.S. tabloid Star spoke to a source who they claim is close to the matters. The insider revealed that when Fox asked Jen to return to American Idol, they granted all of her demands:
“They promised her whatever she wanted, and she took full advantage of that. She got a $2.5 million pay hike and insisted on a massive trailer. Not just for hair and makeup either, but for two spray tanners and her around-the-clock masseuse.”
The masseuse isn’t even the best part. Jen allegedly demands that her food be all-white, a private plane, tons of pricey candles and a huge fashion budget, as the source revealed, “Jennifer’s clothing budget for her stylist is at least $10,000 per episode.”
Even her man gets in on the action. Jen apparently demanded that her boyfriend Casper Smart be placed on the Idol payroll. The source told the gossip magazine:
“She demanded that Casper be on the payroll as well, because he will choreograph her dance number when she performs on the show.”
Perhaps the saddest of all the claims made by Star, was the accusation that Jen has instituted a no eye contact rule, in which crew members aren’t allowed to even look at the aging pop star:
“The crew is not allowed to approach Jennifer--she has her own production assistant to keep the lower-ranked crew away from her. Only the top producers and the show runner can talk to her directly.”
