Right now just about everyone is singing former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Gigi Hadid's praises after the supermodel's open letter to all the body shamers in the fashion industry, but her sister Bella isn't said to be one of them. According to the latest gossip news updates, the high-fashion models have been feuding over who is going to be the next super-popular it girl, and things are said to be turning nasty. Word has it that despite sticking up for ladies with a more curvier body type on Instagram, Gigi recently called out the 19-year-old newcomer for looking fat during one New York Fashion Week show. Regardless of whatever issues Gigi might have with her sister's success, Joe Jonas hasn't been shy about being just as proud of Hadid as he is in love with her.
Gigi Hadid definitely set social media ablaze when she recently put all the haters on notice that shaming perfect 10 bodies like her would no longer be accepted in the fashion industry of the future, but no one seems more proud of her Instagram activism than her Jonas Brother boyfriend, Nick Jonas.
In a recent interview with E! News, the 26-year-old popstar commended his supermodel girlfriend for having the courage to insists that she is still sexy, despite her not sharing the stick figure frame that has often been associated with models of the past:
"I'm really proud of her. I think it's something that needs to be spoken about especially in that community.
"The industry seems to be changing for models, and it's great that she can have a voice."
The former JoBro band memeber also confessed that he found writing Gigi loves songs comes pretty naturally to him since his falling head over heels for her:
"I think when there's love in the universe, it's easy to write love songs."
Despite all the attention she has been receiving both in and outside the world of fashion, Gigi is said to be deeply insecure about the prospect of her little sister, Bella, soon surpassing her in popularity in the industry.
One source in the latest October 19, issue of OK! Magazine claims that Bella's exploding onto a scene, when she didn't even have a desire to be a model just a few short years ago has really thrown Gigi for a loop:
"Lately, photographers have been more interested in Bella, because of her more exotic look.
"Many think she is the true beauty of the two, and Gigi can't deal with the fact the Bella might outshine her."
According to the informant, things really came to a head when Bella made the mistake of joking out loud about Gigi's hair while they happened to be working at a show together last month:
"[Gigi] barked that Bella looked fat in her dress -- right in front of the design team."
