Hillary Clinton said that she could very well have a role for Kanye West within her presidential campaign and could give him pointers for the future.
West came into the media very aggressively by announcing that he would make a run at the oval office in 2020. Clinton came back and asked him to wait at least one more election because she believe's that she will be running for reelection in that election. That being said, adding West into her race for the 2016 nomination and presidential race would be an excellent move for the former First Lady.
She talked about a small role for West in a recent interview and seemed serious about bringing him on board.
"I might want to give [Kanye] some additional experience so he's got, on all the other things he's done on his resume, he's got some kind of envoy role or something he could point to."
Clinton has been falling behind in the polls quickly due to the issues that she has had with the email scandal in particular. There are still quite a few that would vote for her, but adding in some unique flavors to her campaign would help her in a big way. West has a diehard fan base and would without question get involved in the voting if he was attached to Clinton.
Some may not think that West is serious about getting into politics, but he definitely is serious about it. He confirmed his original comments and talked more about running for president in a recent interview.
"When I run for president, I'd prefer not to run against someone. I would be like 'I want to work with you.'I think all the people running right now have something that each of the others needs. But the idea right now have something that each of the others needs. But the idea of this separation and this gladiator battle takes away from the main focus that the world needs help and the world needs all the people in a position of power or influence to come together."
The possibility of Clinton including West into her campaign will be intriguing to keep an eye on moving forward.
Expect to hear plenty more from Clinton over the next few months and for West to be a potential help for her. He is likely open to help her out this year, but the thought of him actually becoming a president is laughable. That being said, this does add more intrigue to Clinton's bid for the White House.
