Bachelor Ben Higgins Quits after Becca Tilley Returns?

The Season 20 premier of ABC's Bachelor is still months away, and already Becca Tilley's supposed return to the series has the show close to coming completely off the rails. According to the latest gossip news, the contestants are all in an uproar now that they have to compete with Chris Soules' 2015 runner-up. Word has it that Ben Higgins even told Becca that she really wasn't welcome and is now considering quitting the TV show after losing the battle with the producers to keep her away.

Filming for the latest season of The Bachelor is barley under way and already Ben Higgins is said to be openly considering quitting the show before things get any worse.

One source in the latest October 19, issue of In Touch claims that Ben really wasn't ready for all the behind-the-scenes drama that goes along with helming the popular dating show:

'"He's really stressed out...It's way too overwhelming and crazy for him.

"The girls are nuts. They're all jealous of each other and mad that Becca is back.

"The women are getting really catty...He just doesn't know if he can handle it. Ben thought it would be easier."

For all the girls protesting, Reality Steve assures fans that no one was more upset about Becca coming back to the show than Ben.

According to the Bachelor franchise soothsayer, Higgins did his best to try to convince Tilley that she really wasn't welcome, but in the end it appears the decision wasn't his to make (via The Stir):

"Ben told her directly [not to the show, but] she did it anyway because she obviously has an interest in him (and other factors like TV, promoting product, social media love, etc.), but I can't see him flipping on his stance at all from what I was told."

What do you think about ABC constantly bringing back last year's loser to shake things up on the franchise?

Is Ben right to supposedly protest Becca coming back to the show?

Or, is it about time the producers thought of some new way to inject excitement in The Bachelor?
