Game Prediction: This is one of the most obvious big games of the day as both Seattle and Carolina are currently considered contenders in the NFC this season. They are both quality teams on both sides of the football, although they are both mostly known for their strong defenses.
Russell Wilson and the Seahawks are currently sitting at 2-3 on the season and are coming off of a tough loss against Cincinnati last week. They haven't looked on the same page offensively this season and the defense hasn't been the "Legion of Boom" that it was over the past couple of years. There are still plenty of ways for them to improve, but right now they haven't looked consistent.
Carolina, on the other hand, is 4-0 on the season and Cam Newton has had a big season. Even without star receiver Kelvin Benjamin, the Panthers' offense has looked much better than it did last season. Luke Kuechly and the defense is among the best in the NFL and they still have plenty more room to grow.
It's hard to predict who will win this game, but it is always difficult to bet against Seattle at home.
Newton has to come out firing offensively and they have to find ways to move the football. Seattle is starting to get their defense back to dominance, but still have a little ways to go. Carolina cannot allow this to be the week that they figure out how to unlock that dominance again.
Expect to see this game come down to the fourth quarter, but the Seahawks are our bet to pull out a huge win and improve to 3-3 on the year.
