“Arrow’ Spoilers: White Canary Resurrection and Canceled ‘Constantine’ Return

Spoiler Alert: Tonight, the CW is all new with a hell raising episode of Arrow. Last week saw The Black Canary/Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) and Speedy/Red Arrow/ Thea Queen (Willa Holland) dig up the body of Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) in order to resurrect her in the Lazarus Pit. However, the Pit has a long history of driving those it brings back to life, insane. That all leads to next week’s visit from John Constantine. Matt Ryan will be making his way from the canceled series in order to lend Team Arrow a magical hand (“and the other is smoking a cigarette”).

The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Arrow, titled “Restoration,” reads:

“The growing tension between Oliver and Diggle puts both their lives at risk when they go after Damien Darhk and a H.I.V.E. deployed meta-human. Meanwhile, Laurel talks Thea into returning to Nanda Parbat to ask her father to put Sara into the Lazarus Pit. However, Laurel is surprised when Nyssa refuses to do it.”

However, resurrecting Sara Lance will have a few complications. That is where John Constantine comes in. Matt Ryan is reprising his role as the titular character from the short lived NBC series in next week’s episode.

Recently, .Comicbookmovie.com obtained the official CW plot synopsis for next week’s episode titled “Haunted:”

“MATT RYAN REPRISES HIS ROLE AS JOHN CONSTANTINE ON ARROW -- When things take a turn for the worse with Sara (guest star Caity Lotz), Oliver (Stephen Amell) calls in a favor from an old friend who deals in the mystical, John Constantine (guest star Matt Ryan). John Badham directed the episode written by Brian Ford Sullivan & Oscar Balderrama.”
