If you happened to see the tabloids, then you may be asking yourself if Miley Cyrus is pregnant. The singer, whose upcoming album is called Bangerz, apparently had a pregnancy scare and thought that she was having a baby. Her fiance at the time, The Hunger Games' Liam Hemsworth, allegedly postponed their 2013 break up as a result. We’ll take a look at these rumors and see if there is any credibility to them.
OK! magazine, a popular tabloid, is claiming that Miley tried to trap Liam Hemsworth by pretending that she was pregnant. Of course, the article’s title is significantly misleading, as it appears that Miley was just as convinced. A source told the publication that:
“Miley thought that she was expecting and wanted to announce it to the world, even before she went to a doctor to verify the results. Liam begged her not to go public yet. He was emotionally out of the romance for months by that point, though he was still sleeping with her. She agreed to stay quiet for Liam’s sake.”
According to the publication, Miley used the pregnancy scare to trap Liam. Cyrus allegedly told Liam that she would destroy him in the media if he left her at such a “delicate time.” An insider revealed to the magazine:
“She begged him to stay and said that he could have his space, as long as he didn’t break up with her. So Liam obliged. He got his freedom and she got the right to say they were still engaged.”
The insider goes on to say that Liam felt obliged to help Miley, despite her increasingly sex-crazed attitude. He just respects privacy a lot more than Cyrus, or at least that’s how the source made it seem:
“Liam’s a good guy and when things got real and scary, he was there for her. But for him, the bond was out of obligation And to keep Miley quiet. She wants to announce every tiny aspect of her life to the world, and this was the last thing Liam needed.”
