Depending on who you talk to Khloe Kardashian either cancelled her divorce from husband Lamar Odom because she wants them to grow old together or because she didn't know what else to do in the wake of his having no real family to help make decisions for him. Regardless of Khloe's reasons for sidelining the split, all the latest gossip news updates agree that there is no way that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality TV star is going to breakup with her current basketball boyfriend, James Harden. Word has it that Kim's little sis plans to go on dating the Houston Rockets point guard, while at the same time working on her marriage to Lamar.
Once it was announced that Khloe Kardashians and Lamar Odom's divorce was all but thrown out in court, the supermarket tabloids seemed to immediately jump to the conclusion that the 31-year-old reality star planned to try to make their marriage work -- for better or worse.
One source in the latest November 9, issue of Star magazine claims that Khloe is telling her friends and family that she is going to dedicate herself to making her marriage to Lamar work no matter what:
"Khloe's determined to stick by him for the long-haul, even if that means months in the hospital, years of rehabilitation and, possibly, limited and physical recovery...But she doesn't really know what that means.
"It means he could be completely dependent like a child."
In her recent interview in People magazine, however, Khloe explained her motivations for postponing the divorce had nothing do to with getting back together with Lamar:
"He doesn't have a support system. He has no siblings and his mother passed away.
"He doesn't have a ton of friends because most of them have passed away. It's just him. I want to be his support system."
In fact, Hollywood Life's secret insider insists that Khloe thinks she can balance taking care of Lamar over the next couple months with her dating James Harden -- despite the Houston Rocket's busy holiday schedule:
"Khloe has brought up the idea to watch James play on Christmas and bring Lamar with her if he is healthy enough to travel to Texas.
"She wants Lamar to be around the game and have some fun; he needs it. But in the chance that he is not able to take that much of travel, she would love to go to the Los Angeles Lakers game, and then hang out with James during New Year's Eve after his game that night because he has the following day off."
