From the moment that it was announced they were a couple, Jay Z and Beyoncé have been the undisputed King and Queen of popular music culture, but behind the scenes things weren't always as idyllic as they seemed. According to the latest gossip news updates, J. Randy Taraborrelli's new book, Becoming Beyoncé: The Untold Story, reveals that for a year back in 2005 the couple secretly split due to fears that the Black Album mastermind was cheating with Rihanna. Even worse, new rumors are starting to immerge that the former Destiney's Child band member is currently unhappy in their marriage and reportedly uses antianxiety drugs -- like Xanax -- to deal with the pressures of their relationship.
While much has been made in recent weeks of the J. Randy Taraborrelli's claim that Jay Z and Beyoncé all but broke up back in 2005 due to fears that he was stepping out on her.
One source in the latest November 9, issue of In Touch insists that Becoming Beyoncé barely even scratches the surface of Bey's paranoid and suspicions nature:
"The image the public sees of Beyoncé is not the real Beyoncé. There's a side that involves drugs, violence and cheating.
"Beyoncé and her mom, Tina, would right these rambling emails to [her father] Mathew, complaining about Jay Z and who he was with.
"Some had celebrity names -- people she thought he'd cheated with...Beyoncé would call her father up crying about it."
According to the insider, Beyoncé is hardly any happier today, as she reportedly relies on drugs -- like Xanax -- just to get through some day:
"Beyoncé has tried almost every type of antianxiety drug there is. They kept her comfortably numb so she could deal."
In fact, OK! Magazine's on site witness claims that Bey started taking out her frustrations on the work crew, while recently moving into their new home in L.A.:
"The workers have been there around the clock and Jay Z is very sympathetic to all of them. He has been buying them food, giving them extra money and constantly telling them how great the place looks
"Beyoncé blew up at Jay Z for no reason yesterday and was barking orders at everyone like she is the first person to ever move into a new home. They got into a huge fight in front of everyone over how he is handling the move.
"He told her that the only reason they chose this place to begin with is because it is what she wanted, not him. He told her that he is really sick and tired of being her b*tch."
