Bethenny Frankel may be going through a high-profile divorce, but she seems to be taking it pretty well. That could be because of friends like Martha Stewart, who recently appeared on Bethenny’s new show. During the interview, Stewart bashed her own ex-husband, as well as, Jason Hoppy.
Frankel and Hoppy’s divorce has generated a ton of press. From secret recordings to fighting for custody, it seems that the couple can’t stay out of the news cycle.
A lot of this has to do with Hoppy secretly recording the former RHONY star and her employees. Hoppy allegedly did this to gain the upper hand in their bitter custody battle. A source close to the situation told Radar Online:
"She makes all of these public statements that she hoped the divorce would be amicable, but then filed for sole custody of Bryn...How could it have remained amicable when Bethenny is doing that? Did she honestly believe Jason would just walk away from their daughter? There is no way he would ever do that. If it means going to trial, Jason is willing to take his chance."
It seems that everyone is talking about their split...and that includes the queen of DIY, Martha Stewart. The legendary homemaker appeared on Bethenny’s new morning show and spilled the dirt about her last divorce, telling the reality star:
“[Divorce] is a horrible thing to go through. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a compromise. It was his choice by the way not mine. His choice.”
She was, of course, talking about her ex-husband, Andrew Stewart. From her tone, she still harbors more than her fair share of resentment. But Stewart didn’t appear on the show just to bash her ex-husband, she also came to offer advice:
“The best thing to do is think of your partner as a piece of you know what, it’s over and get on with your life.
