Watch: New Official Trailer for Quentin Tarantino's 'The Hateful Eight'

The first trailer for Quentin Tarantino's third film in his 'rewritten history' trilogy, The Hateful Eight is here, and it looks fantastic. If you could see one film this December it should be Star Wars The Force Awakens, but if you can get to the theaters to see another then it should definitely be The Hateful Eight.

The Hateful Eight is lovely new western from iconic director Quentin Tarantino. This isn't your run-of-the-mill western by any means. Tarantino has laced his influence into every aspect of this film. What is the best thing about this? This film will be a little violent, a little funny, and whole lot of badass! The Hateful Eight is sure to wow audiences this Christmas. Check out the trailer below:

Tarantino will be wrapping up his 'rewritten history' trilogy (Inglorious Bastards, and Django Unchained) with The Hateful Eight. This entire film was shot in 70mm, and the results are beautiful. The film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Walton Goggins, Jason Leigh, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen and Channing Tatum.

The film follows the events of what happens when 8 violent people are stranded during a blizzard in one place. It will be nice to just sit back and see how they all will inevitably turn against each other.

Tarantino recently garnered some hostility, when he showed up at a rally against police brutality in New York on October 24. This prompted police unions to threaten a boycott of the film. This has raised the question of whether this will affect the films box office numbers. His actions and words should not affect much. According to Joe Quenqua, director of the entertainment practice at DKC (a public relations firm), "Audiences have become much more sophisticated about separating peoples' personal thoughts and views and lives from their professional work."

The Hateful Eight is set to hit theaters on December 25th shot only in 70mm, with the wide release set for January 8th.
